Artist Ed Ruscha's fascinating video is part of the J. Paul Getty Museum's current exhibit "Overdrive - L.A. Constructs the Future 1940-1990" now through July 21, 2013. "In the 1960s, Ruscha started documenting the building facades along the city's major boulevards by taking continuous photographs with a 35 mm camera mounted to a moving vehicle...The Streets of Los Angeles Archive, now preserved at the Getty Research Institute, documents Ruscha's comprehensive views of avenues throughout the region, including the iconic Sunset Strip and Hollywood Boulevard."
